A lap of Monza with Giancarlo Fisichella:

"At the end of the long pit straight, I will be doing around 350km/h in top gear before having to brake hard for the Rettifilo. The chicane is taken in first gear, although the first part, taken at 90km/h, is somewhat quicker than the second, for which I need to drop down to under 70km/h."

"Accelerating out of the chicane, I enter the Curva Grande in fifth gear, taking sixth midway through the corner. My speed on entry will be around 270km/h, and I will exit at around 320km/h. Maximum speed on the straight down to the second chicane will be just under 340km/h in top gear."

"The Roggia chicane is taken in second gear, the first part at just under 100km/h and the second at around 115km/h. On the short straight into the first Lesmo corner I will only reach 265km/h in fifth gear, before dropping down to third gear and hitting the apex at around 165km/h. I will very briefly take fourth gear before once again dropping to third gear and 155km/h for the second Lesmo corner. The straight leading to the Ascari chicane, which passes under the old banking, will see me reaching a top speed of 340km/h."

"The left-hand apex of the Ascari chicane is taken in third gear at around 155km/h. I will hold third gear through the right-hand part of the corner, where I will apex at around 190km/h, and then accelerate hard from here, with maybe only a small lift for the final part of the chicane, taken in fourth gear at around 235km/h."

"The back straight will see me reach 345km/h in top gear before braking for the Parabolica, where I will go down to third gear and take quite an early apex at around 170km/h. This will allow me to maximise acceleration through the exit of the corner, using all of the very wide circuit to ensure a good entry onto the pit straight, and I will cross the start-finish line at around 325km/h."
